We currently offer a 3 hour cooking class demo + discussion for groups of 20-50!

For groups of 20-50 guests, we currently offer a 3 hour cooking class. The typical format is below but reach out to us if you'd like to customize a demo, workshop, or class for your group!

The class features a discussion on sustainability, traceability and ethical sourcing, and natural eating. The demo is 2 hours (light snacks and a nonalcoholic beverage are provided) and then questions are answered over a family-style dinner that is offered for the last hour.

Class Goals

- Participants will develop more confident TASTING skills- identifying saltiness, sweetness, acid, spice, sourness, bitter- and how they combine to create a balanced and well seasoned dish.

- Participants will walk away with some simple and easy every day tricks for adding depth of flavor to dishes- such as caramelizing onions, roasting garlic, toasting & grinding spices, using stock, etc.

- Participants will feel empowered to cook with more seasonal and organic ingredients and have the information they need to do so.

- Participants will be engaged in thinking about cooking as including story, culture & history, as well as flavor and nutrition.

Spring salad of roasted asparagus, radish, olives, carrot ribbons, spring greens, dill & spring garlic yogurt vinaigrette
